Raising all of humanity: Starting with a backyard pool world

Chapter 52 [The King Finally Meets the King]

Chapter 52 [The King Finally Meets the King]

Just as everyone was still reeling from the ordeal, a hidden mountain wall behind the camp silently peeled away its rock layers, revealing a dark passage.

Lin Qi was the first to emerge from inside, covered in mud and exhausted.

Closely following behind were Bree and his five-man squad.

Their armor was tattered and their bodies were bruised, but they couldn't hide the excitement and awe in their eyes.

"Heart of the Rock!" Thorin was the first to spot him and strode over.

When he saw Lin Qi, and then the five soldiers who should have died or been seriously wounded on the front lines, countless questions welled up in his mind.

Where did you go?

"I went and cut through the enemy's supply lines; I call it the Mother Nest Totem," Lin Qi said succinctly.

Bri raised his round shield high and added, "The craftsman led us and destroyed the monsters' rear!"

"The Mother Nest Totem?" Thorin repeated the unfamiliar term with a puzzled look.

"That was the core that sustained their power," Lynch explained. "Now, it no longer exists."

The dwarves slowly gathered around, their gazes shifting from confusion to shock, and finally to fervent worship as they looked at Lynch.

Thorin grabbed Lynch and pounded his back hard.

"I knew it! I knew you weren't an ordinary person! You saved us once again!"

"Heart of Rock!"

"Heart of Rock!"

The dwarves, who had survived the ordeal, offered their most enthusiastic cheers to this alien hero who had created a miracle.

Meanwhile, at the far other end, in the basin camp.

The Black Tide Monarch sensed it.

The tens of thousands of power nodes that were spread throughout the wasteland and connected to his will all went out.

The mother nest totem has been destroyed.

The network of power that supported his entire legion was uprooted.

"Ha..." Beside him, the few remaining plague messengers and guards felt the destructive rage emanating from the monarch.

Before the guards could even scream, their bodies were absorbed by the black tide under the terrifying pressure.

"My Lord...My Lord..." The surviving old shaman prostrated himself on the ground, trembling violently.

At this moment, all the legions, all the servants, all the plans, all became meaningless.

The toy he had poured so much effort into was stomped on and smashed.

After the extreme anger, what remains is pure tranquility.

He decided to personally retrieve the last and only prize.

The Black Tide Monarch's body began to change. His solid muscles and bones decomposed, vaporized, and finally transformed into a pure black stream of light condensed from the will to destroy and the power of the Black Tide.

"boom--"

A black streak of light pierced through the clouds, shooting toward the core of the crater at a speed beyond the reach of physics.

The revelry in the dwarf camp came to an abrupt halt.

As Lynch was being tossed into the air by the excited dwarf warriors, he suddenly sensed a terrifying aura that sent chills down his spine.

He broke free from his companions and looked up at the sky.

That black streak that pierced the heavens and earth was the Black Tide Monarch.

He abandoned everything and got straight to the point.

"This is bad!" Lin Qi's heart sank. "His target is the meteorite's core!"

Everyone understood that once the source was seized by the Black Tide Monarch, all their previous sacrifices would become meaningless.

Lin Qi didn't have time to explain further.

"Thorin! Master! This is your responsibility!" he shouted to Thorin and Brock, who had chased after him. "I must stop him!"

Before he finished speaking, he had already transformed into a blur and rushed towards the crater.

……

The center of a massive impact crater.

On the scorched earth, the mountain-sized piece of extraterrestrial iron emitted a soft light, causing the surrounding space to distort slightly.

On the other side of the Xuan Tie, the ground cracked open, revealing a bottomless pit containing the primitive plague organization designated by Xu Ye.

The two opposing forces have created a delicate balance in this place.

When Lin Qi arrived, the Black Tide Monarch was already standing next to the Plague.

The black stream of light reformed, its body becoming more solid than before, and the oppressive aura it exuded was even more terrifying.

The two, two great Awakeners, met face-to-face for the first time, separated by a massive piece of extraterrestrial black iron.

They simply stood facing each other in silence.

"You are that insect," the Black Tide Monarch said, a simple statement, "an insect that destroyed my chessboard."

"A kingdom built on devouring and enslaving, its foundation is no different from that of the Sand Tower." Lynch gripped his battle axe tightly, on guard.

"Power is devouring." Black flames ignited in the eyes of the Black Tide Monarch.

"The law of the jungle is the only truth in this world. Your petty tricks and tinkering are nothing compared to true power."

"You don't understand what power is," Lynch retorted. "You're just a slave enslaved by power."

"Hahahaha..." The Black Tide Monarch laughed loudly, his voice filled with contempt. "I will soon show you what true power is!"

"When I've devoured everything here, I'll grind you and your ridiculous axe to dust!"

He took a step forward, and the entire crater trembled.

Lin Qi also lowered his body, and frost and fire runes lit up alternately on the axe blade.

Suddenly, ripples spread across the space between them.

A teleportation array, composed of countless intricate runes and radiating pure arcane light, unfolded out of thin air.

Two figures emerged from the magic array.

On the left is Valen, holding a staff, his face filled with excitement and tension as he observes the two terrifying monsters before him.

On the right is Lila, her face somewhat pale. Maintaining this precise teleportation over such a long distance is taking a huge toll on her.

But they are not the main characters.

Between the two, a semi-transparent phantom composed of pure arcane radiance and data streams coalesced and took shape.

It was the silhouette of an elven woman, elegant and noble, with long silver hair moving without wind.

Thea descended in the form of a phantom of her will.

Her appearance mediated the outbreak of war.

The Black Tide Monarch stopped in his tracks. He could sense that within this phantom was a third kind of power, completely different from his and Lin Qi's, yet equally at the pinnacle of the laws.

Lin Qi frowned as well, recognizing the aura of the mastermind he had sensed in the Leaf Messenger.

hero.

Devil.

A wise man.

The three chosen ones, the three kings representing different directions of evolution in this world.

Finally, they gathered together at the core of the Dragon Comet.

"Looks like I'm not late," Thea's illusory figure spoke. "This good show is finally getting to the point."
