Chapter 202: Brangara’s Declaration
Chapter 202: Brangara’s Declaration
Citrakah Enclave!
Shaped like the head of a jellyfish, it stretched to a length of 18,600 kilometres at its widest, and plummeted to a mere width of 280 kilometres at its narrowest. Stretching down the head-shaped landmass were dozens of thin stretches of land, like tentacles, which all curled through the Sandy-Grey Void.
The narrowest of these tendrils, reaching a breadth of 280 kilometres, led into a chicken’s corridor spanning barely six kilometres, which was what connected to the Nusantara Continent.
The Enclave spanned a significant length, mostly thanks to its narrow corridors meandering through the Nusantara Continent. Moreover, the head portion was curved to the side, capable of slowly moving about in the Sandy-Grey Void, making it extremely difficult to determine the position of Nusantara Continent with respect to its orientation.
At its longest, the Enclave spanned around 60,000 kilometres in length, making it Nusantara Continent’s biggest Enclave.
Most of all, it was extremely hard for an invading force to maneuver through these windings, against all obstacles from the natives, and enter Nusantara Continent.
The terrain of Citrakah Enclave was fully rocky, with tough pillars reaching as high as sixty metres. Uniformly, across the Enclave, nothing increased past the altitude of sixty metres, due to the extremity of terrain changes that happened past this point.
Past this point, the gravitational field behaved like water pressure at the depths of the ocean, and acted upon any object entering the field’s space, instantly crushing it. This gravity will keep on crushing it until the object gets reduced to the molecular level, upon which it’ll rain upon the ground and get attracted into the pillars.
These pillars have a special gravity field to them, active only to a layer spanning a millimetre around its surface. This gravity field makes any dust stick onto the pillar with enough force, a molecular reaction or at the very least, a physical bond of sorts gets created.
The entirety of this region is bereft of any vegetation, only covered by the rock pillars. From time to time, small mounds appear between the pillars, barely reaching twelve metres in height. In each mound lies an entrance spanning a height of eight metres.
Extending through the entrance, heading deep underground, is a path, leading to an expansive biome within. Living in these biomes were the Pranic Beasts native to the Citrakah Enclave.
As the force stationed in an Enclave, these Pranic Beasts were constantly trained in terms of warfare by the Nusantara Continent. Every time it chances upon a Continent, it would dock onto one of the latter’s Enclaves with the Citrakah Enclave.
And then, the natives from the other Continent would invade Citrakah Enclave, providing experience for the Pranic Beasts living in these mounds.
Having been at it for more than a million years, the races native to Citrakah Enclave were some of the most responsive and geared against an invasion. It was why Nusantara Continent positioned this Enclave close to Sumatra.
Situated 80 kilometres from the border was a location where the rock pillars had amassed enough mass and grown in size, they had merged into each other, creating an endless stretch of wall traversing the entirety of the Enclave’s breadth.
Reaching a height of 60 metres, the wall spanned a thickness of four metres, serving as a robust defensive wall. Moreover, atop this wall, the gravitational anomaly was pushed back by two metres.
It had been gradually terraformed to create this gap of two metres, which the natives of the Enclave used to peer over the border.
"Go! Go! Go!" A Pranic Beast shouted from behind the wall as it used its long neck to peer through the gap over the wall, "Complete the preparations!"
"Sumatra’s force is about to invade us!"
The moment Brangara set out of the Varahan Enclave on the Empyrean Tusk, the Transcendents of Nusantara Continent promptly alerted Nusantara’s forces. And hence, they had begun preparations to defend against the invasion.
The Transcendents attacking Branagara had done so purely to buy enough time for the preparations to be complete.
After all, the Empyrean Tusk had only journeyed for a mere two minutes in its casual gait before it reached Citrakah Enclave.
Since the natives of Citrakha Enclave were treated as the spearhead and shield against all external forces, they were given immense support from Nusantara Continent’s top forces.
Many experts from across the Continent gathered at the place. That wasn’t all. There were plenty of existences who were empowered by a Quill, so that they could fight without worrying about Prana reserves.
The Quill in their body will supply them with enough Prana to last for a while, which was how they could emerge victorious even if they were to make mistakes or were outclassed by the opponent.
Even weaker Continents sometimes birthed powerful experts.
Tens of thousands of Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beasts stood behind the Wall, termed the Iron Wall.
There were Silver and Gold Walls situated deeper into the Citrakah Enclave, and the narrowest wall of them all, protecting just the chicken’s corridor, was the Mystic Wall.
Every subsequent wall had better defensive means and strength of the stationed forces.
But since even the Iron Wall had a total of 12,200 Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beasts, of which 600 had a Quill, they were always confident about their defensive means.
Throughout Citrakah Enclave’s history, the number of times the Iron Wall was breached only amounted to eight times. The Silver Wall was breached only once. No force managed to breach through the Gold Wall, much less the Mystic Wall.
Right as preparations were in full swing, the Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beasts armed with a Quill suddenly plummeted to the ground in unison, and without missing a beat, hollered out in pain.
"Why?"
"What’s happening?"
"GRAHHH!"
A Pranic Beast hooted in pain as it watched a Quill fully extricate itself out of its body and then generate a pillar of light to land on the ground. A second later, it acted like it had grown legs, to run away.
One...two...twenty...six hundred! All 600 Quills left the bodies of the Pranic Beasts they had been residing within for centuries, unleashed pillars of light around a metre to four metres each, and then used the pillar of light like the tip of a spinning beyblade to move across the ground.
Using the rotation, and by shifting the weight alongside the spinning axis of the pillar of light, the Quills rapidly moved...away from the border.
"What the...fuck?" A Pranic Beast couldn’t help but curse in surprise, for this was the first time it had witnessed such a scene, of Nusantara Continent’s overwhelmingly powerful Celestial getting riled up enough to retract all the Quills it had dispersed around.
In unison, the Quills fled in the direction of the Silver Wall, leaving those at the Iron Wall stranded in confusion.
But before they could even understand the situation at play, their attention was captured by the entity that had sauntered in, announcing its arrival.
KURRALALALALA!
The Empyrean Tusk’s trumpet created a sonic storm, spreading around with a thunderous shockwave as waves of walls of air could be seen traversing into the depths of the Enclave.
The Iron Wall, the Silver Wall, and even those stationed at the Gold Wall heard the trumpet. Stunned by the sheer volume of sound a creature could make.
And then, using a variety of prepared means beforehand, they all focused upon the border, where the intruder had appeared. Next, they were stunned.
"Does that make any sense?"
"How is that size possible?"
"It’s...HUGE!"
"You’re telling me that’s an Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beast like us?"
"How the fuck did Sumatra spawn something this absurd?"
As everyone exclaimed at the sheer size of the Empyrean Tusk, which easily towered over their biggest creatures casually, one learned Pranic Beast commented carefully, "Even though we have the same Grade, our status is completely different!"
"That’s a smurf acting like it’s Gold Grade."
Instinctively, these Pranic Beasts shuddered and eyed the Empyrean Tusk, which even from a distance of 80 kilometres, was clearly visible. It was a moving mountain, after all.
"No wonder it gets worshipped by the natives of Sumatra." The Pranic Beasts clamoured.
Around the same time, as the Empyrean Tusk entered the Citrakah Enclave, the figure of Brangara seated on its head relied on his vantage point to see hundreds of tiny pillars of light fleeing away from the Iron Wall.
’You don’t wish to empower me, huh?’ Brangara curled his lips, ’Smart fucker!’
The Quills were basically no different from snacks to the current him. It was why the Celestial Rotocok refrained from operating anywhere in the vicinity of operations of the Celestial Boar.
’But it’s fine. While you’re preparing to kill me, I’ll keep amassing power too, until I reach a level where even you’ll struggle to destroy me.’ Thinking as such, Brangara patted the head of the Empyrean Tusk, "Tell the brats to come out."
"It’s time for them to venture through enemy lines and spread their influence." He then watched the Empyrean Tusk used its trunk as a bridge to the ground, which the Wean Clansmen within used to traverse.
Torq was among the group, surprised to see the sheer population part of the expedition had far exceeded his wildest estimates. Soon, he understood the reason, ’Free Humans?’
The Free Humans part of the Varahan Empire too had joined the expedition. And due to Brangara’s orders, there was no conflict between the Free Humans and Wean Clansmen.
As the two forces landed on the ground, Brangara’s voice resounded like a heavenly decrease, from atop the Empyrean Tusk’s head.
"Stare straight ahead, and you’ll see a structure approximately 80 kilometres away. That’s the Iron Wall." He then uttered coldly, "Breach it within a month, and I’ll give every contributor..."
"A Minor Treasure!"
